Act as the technical expert for all refractory products used in the glass segment, including silica, AZS, alumina, and fused cast products.
Provide technical support for product selection, installation guidance, and troubleshooting at customer sites.
Lead product trials, performance monitoring and post-mortem analysis.
Work with NPD and production teams to enhance product quality, reduce glass defects (e.g., blisters, stones), and improve campaign life.
Arrange for approval from OEMs, equipment designers and technical consultants wherever required.
Develop and update Product Data Sheets, lining concepts, and thermal modeling insights.
Analyze customer feedback and field performance to drive continuous product improvement.
Monitor market and competitor trends in the glass segment and recommend strategic product positioning.
Support bidding and proposal preparation by contributing to product selection, performance data, and technical differentiators.
Conduct internal and customer training sessions on glass refractories and application Tech Chemical / Glass & Ceramics with 7 to 10 years of experience.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes of different categories of glass, refractory solutions and application of products in the glass segment.
Knowledge of typical furnace zones (melter, regenerator, throat, forehearth, etc.) and material selection based on design / operation Skills :
Ability to work with teams and lead decision-making processes in a team environment.
