Description :
Were seeking a hands-on PL / SQL developer with strong SQL / PLSQL fundamentals and real-world performance tuning skills to build and optimize data logic for our Loan Origination System (LOS) and Loan Management System (LMS) on Oracle RDS. Youll translate business rules into robust database code, design performant data models and views, and ensure reliable, accurate data flows across underwriting, sanction, disbursal, repayments, and GL.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain PL / SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and materialized views for LOS / LMS use cases.
- Write complex SQL with window / analytic functions, dynamic SQL, bulk operations (BULK COLLECT / FORALL), and ref cursors.
- Optimize queries using execution plans, DBMS_XPLAN, statistics management, indexing strategy, and hints where justified; fix high-latency reports / jobs.
- Build and maintain data interfaces (APIs, staging tables, external tables / SQL-Loader-like patterns) to / from upstream / downstream systems.
- Implement data quality checks, reconciliation logic (vouchers, receipts, GL postings), and auditable transformations.
- Partner with product / credit / ops to translate LOS / LMS rules (eligibility, LTV, ROI / IRR, moratorium, EMI schedules, prepayment / foreclosure, DPD / NPA) into reliable database logic.
- Work within Oracle RDS constraints (no OS access) : use snapshots / AWR (where available), parameter-aware tuning, and safe deploy / rollback strategies.
- Maintain documentation : ER diagrams, data dictionaries, lineage, runbooks.
- Uphold data governance : PII masking, RBAC, least-privilege, auditability, and regulatory compliance.
Must-Have Skills :
4- 6 years professional experience with Oracle SQL & PL / SQL in high-volume transactional systems.Strong in :1. Query design &analytic functions
2. Performance tuning (cardinality, joins, partitions, index types, bind variables, PLAN stability)
3. PL / SQL patterns (packages, error handling, collections, bulk processing, pipelined functions)
4. DBMS_SCHEDULER, DBMS_SQL, DBMS_STATS, DBMS_XPLAN
Hands-on with Oracle RDS (parameter groups, snapshots / backups, access controls, limitations vs on-prem).Version control & CI basics (Git, code review, branching); Jira / Confluence or similar.Clear, concise communication with product / credit / ops.(ref : hirist.tech)
