Legal & Compliance Executive - Bengaluru
Job Summary :
A leading mobile Gaming Entertainment company is keen to hire an LLB / LLM professional with 2+ years of experience in legal and compliance domain, with proven expertise in contract drafting, review, negotiation, and litigation management. The selected candidate will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and vetting of commercial agreements, tracking legal disputes, coordinating with external counsel, and maintaining statutory compliance records. The role demands strong attention to detail, sound legal judgment, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams such as Finance, HR, Procurement, and Operations.

Roles & Responsibilities :
Contract Management
- Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial agreements such as operator contracts, NDAs, vendor contracts, service agreements, employment contracts, lease deeds, and partnership agreements.
- Ensure that all contracts are legally sound, commercially viable, and in alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain a central repository of all executed contracts and track renewals, expirations, and compliance obligations.
Litigation Management
Coordinate with external counsel for ongoing litigation and legal notices, including tracking case progress, maintaining case records, and ensuring timely filing of documents.Assist in preparing legal responses, affidavits, and documentation for court matters, regulatory filings, or arbitration proceedings.Maintain an updated litigation tracker and provide periodic reports to management on case status and risks.Data Protection Laws
Monitor compliance with global data protection applicable laws, rules, and internal policies relating to company operations, data protection, and industry specific regulations.Support the development and implementation of compliance checklists, risk registers, and internal audit mechanisms related to data protection laws.Policy & Governance
Assist in drafting, reviewing, and updating internal policies, SOPs, and compliance frameworks.Conduct periodic awareness sessions or compliance training for internal teams on key legal and compliance topics.Support management in implementing corporate governance practices and board-related documentation.General Legal Support
Conduct legal research on new laws, amendments, and regulatory updates relevant to company operations.Review marketing materials, communications, and initiatives for potential legal implications.Liaise with internal teams to provide timely and business-friendly legal advice.Role Requirements : Must-Haves :
Strong expertise in contract drafting, vetting, and negotiation of commercial agreements.Working knowledge of litigation management, including coordination with external counsel and maintaining case documentation.Familiarity with corporate laws, labour laws, and regulatory compliance frameworks applicable in India and abroad.Proficiency in legal research and interpretation of laws, regulations, and judicial precedents.Ability to prepare and maintain compliance trackers, reports, and documentation in an organized manner.Good-to-Have :
Experience in handling data protection, privacy compliance, or contract lifecycle management tools.Exposure to corporate governance practices and secretarial support functions.Basic knowledge of intellectual property (IP) laws, licensing, or trademarks.Familiarity with compliance audits or internal control processes.Prior experience in working with in-house legal teams in the technology or services sector.Benefits & Perks :
