Job description. Master's degree in computer science, IT or similar field. Ph.D. a plus . Good learning ability and problem-solving skills. . Good communication skills in English. . Excellent systematic logical analysis and troubleshooting ability. . Competency of teamwork, self-learning and self-motivation. . Knowledge of programming language, Python or Java, Java is preferred. . Knowledge of Big Data ecosystem, including but not limited to technologies such as Apache Spark, Trino, K8S, Object Storage. . Hands-on experience of databases, understanding SQL or NoSQL databases. . Hands-on experience of web application development. . Understanding software testing processes and methods.
About our group :
We are a team of Seagate Drive Factory MES (Manufacturing Execution System) developers based in China. Our team provides solutions including software architecture / design and application development. The applications and services are deployed in China, Thailand, Singapore and US.
About the role - you will :
- . Work closely with our MES development team to develop in-house applications and support worldwide users.
- . Participating in data-related technical issues.
- . Participating in software testing and function enhancement to ensure data accuracy and data quality, format verification etc.

Located in the high technology district, our site in Wuxi is a global manufacturing hub, where more than 4,000 employees deliver technical services, customer test, manufacturing and support capabilities.
