We are looking for a ServiceNow Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have strong IT Service Management (ITSM) knowledge, hands-on experience gathering requirements, and the ability to translate them into functional specifications for ServiceNow developers and configuration teams.
Key Responsibilities
Engage with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, HRSD, or CSM.
Translate business needs into user stories , process flows , and functional requirements .
Conduct workshops, interviews, and requirement gathering sessions with business teams.
Work closely with developers and configuration specialists to ensure requirements are accurately implemented in ServiceNow.
Participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) by creating test cases and coordinating defect resolution.
Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization using ServiceNow capabilities.
Maintain detailed documentation, including requirement traceability and change logs.
Ensure alignment with ITIL best practices and organizational policies.
Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the ServiceNow technical team.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
3–5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst , preferably in ITSM or enterprise IT applications.
Proven experience working on ServiceNow implementation or enhancement projects .
Strong understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Asset, CMDB).
Proficiency in creating process diagrams , workflow documentation , and user stories .
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work in Agile / Scrum environments .
