Job description

We’re Hiring : Network Engineer – Firewall Implementation (Level 2) - Pune (MH)

Join our Managed Security Services (MSS) Team and play a key role in implementing, managing, and maintaining client firewalls and switches. This dual-role opportunity is ideal for professionals passionate about network security, firewall management, and continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Deploy, configure, and support client firewalls and network infrastructure
  • Monitor, triage, and respond to firewall and VPN-related incidents
  • Collaborate with Network Engineers and SOC teams for effective resolution
  • Mentor SOC team members on network and firewall operations
  • Create and maintain documentation, playbooks, and incident use cases
  • Provide remote support for client firewalls, VPNs, and connectivity issues
  • Participate in after-hours maintenance and on-call support as required

You’ll also :

  • Stay current with technical forums, tools, and best practices
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of SOC processes and scalability

    • Experience :

  • Minimum 10+ years of hands-on experience in firewall management, networking, and security technologies

    • Technical Skills :

  • Strong knowledge of Fortinet or Cisco firewalls
  • Experience administering DNS, DHCP, NTP, and other core network services
  • Proven ability to analyze, triage, and resolve network and firewall-related incidents
  • Solid troubleshooting experience in technical environments
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Commitment to providing superior customer service

    • Preferred Certifications :

    (Any of the following or equivalent)

  • CCENT, CCNA, NSE4+, or PCNSE
  • Certifications from Cisco, Fortinet, Microsoft, CompTIA Network+, or Security+
