Job descriptionLead the incoming inspection process for mechanical parts ensuring compliance with engineering specifications and quality standards. Conduct detailed inspections of incoming materials including visual assessments and dimensional measurements using precision instruments. Maintain records of inspections including reports on defects non-conformance and compliance with specifications. Provide On Job training to inspectors and other team members on inspection techniques and quality standards and maintain records Review of NC items Vs datasheet / quality requirements ensure proper closure of ON HOLD materials within targeted time. (Daily & weekly) Support for MRB parts disposition & lot acceptance rate improvement. review of each iqc rejection cases for root cause finding initiating for internal corrections & corrective actions with relevant team to reaccept / dispose & to avoid the NC occurrence further FAI activities and Engg co-ordination Internal & External QMS / EMS Audits and follow up / closure on related action item. Update QIPs / documents w. r. to the QMS / Customer requirements & ensuring the implementation Analyze inspection data to identify trends and areas for improvement in supplier quality and incoming inspection processes. Work closely with engineering production and quality assurance teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Qualoification :
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineer with 3- 4 Years of Experience
- Proven experience in quality control or inspection in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical parts and materials as well as inspection techniques.
- Proficiency in using measurement and testing equipment (e.g. calipers gauges CMM).
