Cost and Estimation Engineer

Location - Jalhalli, Bangaluru

Job Descripton

• Acknowledge technical queries & new enquiries (RFQs) from Customers on time.
• Read and understand RFQ scope of work and other terms and conditions.
• Understand the RFQ's from technical point and communicating queries to the customer through clarification format.
• Ensure on time completion of estimation and review estimations with department head.
• Coordination with Purchase department to get the prices.
• Responsible for doing contract review with internal CFT team to get all the technical queries and interact with customer for any deviations required to sort out queries.
• Coordination with other departments such as NPD, Tooling, Production, Quality to get the relevant inputs important for estimation.
• Good knowledge on estimation in Sheet metal Fabrication & Machining
• Good knowledge in manufacturing techniques, experience in Sheet metal Fabrication & Machining
• Proficient in drawing reading, GD&T, manufacturing and special process specifications.
• Good Communication and presentation skills.

Software skills

Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Microsoft office tools (Excel, Ppt, word).

Education

Bachelor Of Technology (B.Tech / B.E)
