- Assist clients in registration, bidding and buying process
- Assist the CIN Department in Cataloguing, photography, condition reports as relevant.
- Assist buyers with shipping and post sale requests as required
- Work with consignors and shippers for shipment of their work to auctions from India

Pro-active client information to be recorded and shared with Client Data Management based on regional knowledge, regional reviews, local media, relationship changes etc and oversee flow of this information to Client StrategyEnhancing Christie's brand
Work closely with the senior team of the India office to organize events, lectures and previews in Mumbai and other cities in IndiaRepresent Christie's at appropriate external art-related events, e.g., museum and gallery openings, auctions etc.Administrative Responsibilities
Manage office administration and local financials with the accounts teamManage Interns and the office assistantEnsure functioning of all IT, security systems and hardware equipmentCo-ordination with local suppliers, expense management, maintenance of filesRenewal of Annual Maintenance Contracts, licenses, insurance, lease agreement for Mumbai officePeriodically checking INDIA Inbox and actioning as requiredliaising with various external Teams including Compliance, Accountants, Auditors, Legal, Banks, SecurityOversee the Mumbai office and warehouse maintenanceMaintaining attendance, sexual harassment and wages registers.Distributing Vendor contracts, Confidentiality Agreements as requiredCoordinating all relevant paperwork for shipments, including authority letters, NOC letters, shipping invoices, etc.Previews And Other Events
Confirm venues, costs and logistics for any eventsWorking closely with Specialist Dept. and the Marketing Department for the circulation of invites and distribution of catalogues as relevantWork closely with the Specialist Dept. concerned for the setup of the event – planning the flow of events, speakers and other such detailsAny additional logistics, creation of banners, posters, flowers, lot cardsObtaining necessary licenses for eventsEnsuring timely advances and settlements to vendorsLiaising with overseas offices and shippers for preview shipments in and out of IndiaOperations and Inventory Management
Stock updates of existing and stocks arriving in and out of Mumbai officeReceipts for outbound and inbound movement of propertyMaintaining condition reports on arrival and departure of artworksASI
Follow up on pending ASI Transfers of Ownership and periodic follow up with the Registration Officer of the Concerned CircleMaintaining Form IV register and updating with any movements of the antiquities and transfer of ownershipMonthly and Annual returns to be sent to ASIASI license renewal as requiredEducational Requirement - Graduate or higherMinimum work experience of three years with administrative responsibilities, should be a team workerKnowledge of art is preferred, but not necessarySkills Required
