Senior Cloud Infra Specialist

About the Role

As a Senior Cloud Infra / K8s Specialist, you will be the deepest subject matter expert on Kubernetes and cloud-native infrastructure within the organization. Embedded within a critical squad like our Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) team, your mission will be to design, build, and harden the sophisticated, multi-tenant Kubernetes environment that underpins our entire white-label banking platform.

This is a top-tier, hands-on individual contributor role for a true Kubernetes guru. You are not just deploying services; you are architecting the very fabric of our container platform, solving complex challenges in multi-tenant isolation, network policy, and storage. You will be the go-to expert for troubleshooting the gnarliest infrastructure problems and for performance tuning the Kubernetes control plane and data plane to handle institutional-grade workloads in a secure, regulated environment.

Qualifications

Must-Have :

• Professional Experience : 10+ years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering, SRE, or a similar role, with a minimum of 6-7 years of deep, hands-on experience with Kubernetes in large-scale production environments.
• Kubernetes Mastery : Expert-level, command-line mastery of Kubernetes. CKA, CKS, or equivalent certifications are highly preferred.
• Deep Networking Knowledge : A profound understanding of container networking (CNI plugins like Calico or Cilium), network policies, and service mesh concepts (Istio, Linkerd).
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Deep expertise with Terraform for managing production cloud environments.
• Cloud Architecture : Extensive experience architecting and managing infrastructure on a major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Systems Engineering Fundamentals : A strong background in Linux systems administration, networking, and security.
