About the Role

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with 5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for bridging development and operations through automation, continuous integration / delivery (CI / CD), infrastructure as code (IaC), and system monitoring. You will ensure smooth, secure, and efficient software deployment and infrastructure management to support scalable and reliable applications.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain CI / CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI for automated build, test, and deployment.
Implement and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
Automate provisioning, configuration, and management of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premises environments.
Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate deployments with Kubernetes or similar platforms.
Monitor application performance and system health, troubleshoot issues, and implement resolution plans.
Collaborate closely with development, QA, and IT teams to streamline release and deployment workflows.
Ensure security best practices, vulnerability assessments, and compliance across the infrastructure and pipelines.
Perform root cause analysis for production incidents and implement preventive improvements.
Develop scripts and automation tools using Bash, Python, or similar scripting languages to improve operational efficiency.
Maintain documentation for infrastructure, deployment processes, and operational procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps or related infrastructure / automation roles.

Strong hands-on experience with CI / CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.

Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and managing cloud-native infrastructure.

Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).

Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.

Strong knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).

Solid scripting skills in Python, Bash, or other automation languages.

In-depth understanding of networking, system administration, and security best practices.

Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or DataDog.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications in AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, or DevOps-related fields.

Familiarity with Agile and DevOps culture and practices.

Experience working with microservices architectures and serverless infrastructure.
