Job Description : Cloud Coding Engineer

Role : Cloud Coding Engineer

Type : Freelancing / Contract

Location : Remote

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Cloud Coding Engineer to work on building, optimizing, and evaluating cloud-based applications and workflows. The ideal candidate should have strong coding experience, hands-on cloud expertise, and the ability to design scalable, secure, and reliable cloud solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, solve complex technical challenges, and contribute to cloud automation and development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications using modern programming languages.
  • Work with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) to build scalable, high-performing solutions.
  • Develop automation scripts for cloud infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize applications for performance, security, and cost efficiency.
  • Build and manage CI / CD pipelines for cloud-based projects.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, product, and engineering teams to implement cloud best practices.
  • Perform code reviews, ensure coding standards, and maintain high-quality codebases.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for cloud environments.
  • Support cloud migration projects and modernization efforts.
  • Document architecture, workflows, and technical processes clearly.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong programming skills in one or more languages : Python, Java, Go, Node.js, or C# .
  • Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider ( AWS / Azure / GCP ).
  • Experience with cloud services such as compute, storage, networking, IAM, and serverless.
  • Proficiency in developing and maintaining CI / CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes , and container orchestration tools.
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
  • Ability to write clean, optimized, and maintainable code.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
  • Strong debugging, testing, and problem-solving skills.

    • Preferred Skills

  • Experience with cloud security best practices.
  • Knowledge of cloud cost optimization.
  • Experience with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
  • Exposure to AI / ML cloud services is a plus.
