Job Description : Duck Creek Developer / Engineer – Property & Casualty IT
Overview
Crum & Forster (C&F) is seeking an experienced Duck Creek Developer / Engineer to join our Property & Casualty IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Duck Creek’s toolset and a proven track record of delivering solutions in the insurance domain. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Property & Casualty IT experience strongly preferred.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in Design, develop, and maintaining solutions using Duck Creek’s toolset : Express, Server, Author, Transact, Forms, User Admin, XSLT Transformation, XML, HTML5, and SQL.
- Work with Duck Creek versions 6.x, 7.x, and newer.
- Proficiency in at least one mainstream object-oriented programming language : C#, Java, Visual Basic.NET, JavaScript, or similar.
- Solid understanding of CBO integration with DC, API integration, and runtime debugging.
- Knowledge of Duck Creek databases, SQL jobs, and SQL Server objects.
- Implement DC Shredding and support downstream processing concepts.
- Familiarity with E2 and E3 environments (E3 experience is a plus).
- Installation and configuration of Duck Creek Products.
- Strong knowledge of DC requests related to forms engine, transact events, and custom server requests.
- Strong knowledge of working with Data Fix and Batch Process Requests.
- Excellent analytical, communication, organizational, and technology skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Work directly with technical and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions that solve business problems.
- Adhere to departmental policies, procedures, and authority levels to ensure compliance with C&F’s risk management controls.
Good-to-Have Skills
