The primary responsibility of this role is to build strong corporate relationships and bring in new clients / companies for student placements. The ideal candidate will work as a bridge between the training institute and the industry, ensuring a consistent pipeline of hiring partners while also supporting business growth.
Key Responsibilities :
Corporate Engagement & Placement Acquisition (Primary Focus) :
Identify, target, and onboard new companies across industries for student placement and internship opportunities.
Build long-term relationships with HRs, hiring managers, and recruiters to ensure repeat hiring.
Pitch the institute's trained candidates to prospective employers (cold calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach).
Conduct regular corporate visits, virtual meetings, and networking to explore job requirements.
Organize and coordinate recruitment drives, hiring events, and employer engagement sessions.
Business Development Support :
Collaborate with the sales / admissions team to align client acquisition with student intake goals.
Understand industry trends and feedback from employers to improve training programs.
Promote customized hiring solutions, such as batch hiring or tailored talent pipelines.
Reporting & Coordination :
Maintain an updated database of hiring partners, placement leads, and student placement status.
Provide weekly and monthly reports on client onboarding and placement progress.
Coordinate with internal training teams to align student skills with job market needs.
Key Skills Required :
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Strong B2B sales or corporate outreach background.
Understanding of hiring processes, job market trends, and industry demands.
Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Excel, Google Sheets, LinkedIn, etc.
Confident, target-oriented, and self-motivated personality
Qualifications :
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, HR, Marketing, or related fields.
1–5 years of experience in B2B sales, recruitment, corporate relations, or placements.
Prior experience in a training institute or skill development organization is a plus.
