Position- Senior Cost Manager
Location- Bangalore, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Noida
Sector- Hospitality & Commercial
Roles & Responsibilities :
Experience of post-contract services, interim applications, change management, variation valuation and extension of time claims.
Detailed experience of working with standard form contracts, FIDIC preferred, and administration of contract procedures.
Demonstrable experience in client-facing roles, professional approach and confidence in presenting to clients, other consultants and project stakeholders.
Demonstrable experience in dealing with contractor's personnel with confidence and assurance.
Report writing, Estimate reports, Cost reports, Procurement reports and Tender reports.
Managing the procurement process, ensuring that all stages including pre-qualification, enquiry, analysis, selection and contract preparation are performed effectively
Ensuring that post-contract cost variances and change control processes are managed effectively
Ensuring that cost checking and valuation work is managed effectively
Ensuring the production of monthly post-contract cost reports and presenting them to the client
Value engineering and life cycle costing
Ensuring that final accounts are negotiated and agreed
Experience of Pre contract would have added advantage
Skills Required :
Technical knowledge of interior fit projects for a period of 12+years for CM / QS.
Prior experience of handling fit out projects is required and Candidates with Commercial & Hospitality project exposure could be prioritised, preferably should know background working on CostX.
Good knowledge of all methods of construction and procurement.
Experienced with or managing team that uses multiple estimating tools and applications.
Qualifications Required :
Education - B.E / B.Tech - Civil / Mechanical / Electrical
Post Graduate Qualification in a relevant field would be an added advantage
You should have relevant experience of working for a construction consultancy in India, be degree educated in a relevant construction subject and have good technical skills
12+ years of post-qualification experience in a similar role
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
