Job Title : Account Executive – Digital Shelf & Content Optimization
Location : Mumbai or Pune, India (Remote / Hybrid)
Compensation : ₹4,00,000 – ₹6,00,000 per annum
Travel : Occasional international travel (US, UK & Europe)
About Us We are an AI-driven startup focused on digital content optimization for consumer brands . Our platform identifies gaps in product content on the digital shelf (e-commerce sites, marketplaces, retailer platforms) and helps brands generate new, on-brand, retailer-compliant copy that improves organic visibility, conversion, and revenue.
We’re starting with CPG brands and helping them stay ahead in a world where AI search and commerce are reshaping how consumers discover and buy products online.
Role Summary We’re looking for an Account Executive who is passionate about online commerce growth for CPG brands and understands how great content and search performance drive revenue on the digital shelf.
You will :
Work closely with multiple brand teams at our client organizations
Use our AI software to spot content and search opportunities
Help clients improve their organic performance and sales
Feed market and competitor insights back into our product and content playbooks
Expand our footprint across more brands, markets, and regions
This role combines account management, digital marketing / SEO, AI search and CPG / e-commerce understanding .
What You’ll Do Own client relationships for a portfolio of CPG brands across India and global markets
Use our platform to analyze digital shelf performance :
Identify gaps in product titles, descriptions and attributes
Spot AI Search / SEO and search-ranking opportunities within retailer platforms and marketplaces
Collaborate with brand and e-commerce teams to :
Review insights recommendations from our AI software
Support the creation of new content aligned with brand voice and retailer guidelines
Drive continuous A / B testing and optimization of content
Work with clients to connect content improvements to business outcomes , such as :
Increased organic traffic and search share
Conversion uplift
Revenue and profitability improvements on the digital shelf
Track competitors and category trends :
Benchmark content and search visibility
Identify best practices from competitor brands and categories
Feed these insights back into our software and internal playbooks
Partner with our product and data teams to :
Give structured feedback on platform UX and features
Suggest new metrics, views, or capabilities that would help brand teams
Help expand accounts :
Identify new brands, categories, or geographies within existing client organizations
Prepare and present performance reviews and opportunity roadmaps
Be a trusted advisor to clients on :
Digital shelf strategy
AI & search commerce trends
How to stay ahead of competitors through content and optimization
What You’ll Bring Experience & Background
1–3 years of experience in one or more of the following :
E-commerce / digital marketing / performance marketing
CPG / FMCG (preferably food & beverages, consumer healthcare, beauty and petcare )
Brand management or category management
Account management with consumer brands
Understanding of how CPG brands operate , especially around :
Brand and category management
Retailer / marketplace collaboration
Exposure to online growth levers such as :
AI / Agentic commerce expansion for CPG brands
SEO (search engine optimization) for retailer sites / marketplaces / D2C
Content quality and completeness on the digital shelf
Organic vs paid performance dynamics
Skills & Mindset
Strong interest in unit economics and commercial impact – you care about how content changes translate into revenue and ROI
Solid understanding of :
Digital shelf dynamics
Basic SEO principles (keywords, relevance, ranking, click-through, conversion)
Emerging AI search & commerce trends and how they affect brands
Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-moving startup environment
High creativity and problem-solving mindset – can look at complex category data and see opportunities
Excellent communication & storytelling skills – able to translate data and insights into compelling narratives for brand teams
Strong relationship-building skills and comfort working with multiple stakeholders across marketing, ecommerce, and brand teams
Comfortable working with software tools , dashboards, and spreadsheets; data-curious and detail-oriented
Nice-to-Have Prior experience working with a large CPG / FMCG company ecommerce / digital shelf
Experience with :
Marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, BigBasket, Instacart, etc.)
Retailer media / retail search or on-site SEO
Digital performance reporting and analytics tools
Prior experience in a startup or high-growth environment
Working Model Remote / Hybrid role with flexibility
Preference for candidates based in Mumbai or Pune , for easier collaboration and occasional in-person work sessions
Willingness and ability to travel internationally (US, UK, Europe) for client meetings and workshops, as needed
Compensation ₹4,00,000 – ₹6,00,000 per annum , depending on experience and fit
