Department : Business Development (Reporting to VP)

2 Vacancies : 1) Bengaluru, 2) Delhi; Extensive travel involved

CENTA® is the world’s largest end-to-end professional development platform for teachers supporting close to 2 million teachers in certification, training, and career growth from 7,000 locations in India and from 176 countries (mainly The Philippines, Nigeria, Ghana, UAE, UK, etc.). Thousands of private schools, several ed techs and 18 government bodies use CENTA® in recruiting, promotions, teacher rewards and so on. These opportunities motivate teachers, at scale, to continuously improve their competencies and be more effective – therefore leading to fundamental, market-driven change in the quality of education. The Associate - Large Partnerships will be responsible for generating revenue through acquisition, management, and growth of strategic, high-value partnerships, and other key stakeholders across multinational corporations, governments, foundations, and universties. Future growth potential in the role includes opportunities to build specific business lines, establish CENTA’s presence in specific geographies / sectors and to have a career path towards more senior roles.

Roles and Responsibilities :

1) Revenue Generation via Partnership Acquisition & Development

  • Strive to achieve monthly revenue targets
  • Generate leads, connect with prospective partners, ensure timely responses and engagement
  • Prepare proposals, presentations, and pitches tailored to partner needs
  • Prepare proposals, MOUs, and partnership agreements
  • Collate market and partner intelligence to strengthen proposals

2) Relationship Management

  • Act as the point of contact for partners, ensuring smooth issue resolution
  • Build rapport with partner stakeholders and understand their objectives and challenges
  • Maintain regular partner engagement to enable renewal, upselling, or expansion
  • Track partnership performance against agreed KPIs and prepare periodic reports
  • 3) Execution & Coordination

  • Work with internal teams (marketing, product, operations, etc.) to ensure delivery
  • Monitor progress on partnership commitments and ensure timelines are met
  • Coordinate partner onboarding, documentation, and compliance requirements
  • Maintain a repository of relevant templates, case studies, and marketing collateral
  • Skills and Qualifications :

  • 2–5 years of experience in B2B revenue generation and partnerships
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field; Masters degree preferable
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Drive, proactiveness and entrepreneurial orientation to pursue rapid growth
  • Proficient with common tech tools (Google - Sheets, Docs, etc., MS Office - Excel, Word, Power Point, Canva, etc.)
