Position : Electrical Design Engineer – Power Systems (Renewable Energy)

Location : South India

Experience : 10–15 years

Role Objective :

To architect and execute electrical system designs for RCT's renewable and hydrogen-based power systems, ensuring performance, safety, and scalability across applications.

Key Responsibilities :

Design electrical layouts for solar + hydrogen hybrid systems and energy storage integrations

Lead LV / MV system design, inverter integration, protection schemes, and grid compliance

Create detailed electrical drawings, cable schedules, SLDs, and wiring diagrams

Collaborate with global teams on CE / UL / IEC standard alignment and technology transfer

Support integration of SCADA, control systems, and remote monitoring infrastructure

Work closely with EPC teams to ensure installability, safety, and successful commissioning

Lead electrical audits and prepare documentation for statutory and regulatory approvals

Qualifications :

B.E. / M.E. in Electrical Engineering

Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, fuel cell interfaces, and grid standards

Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, ETAP, or similar design tools

Familiarity with Indian Electrical Code, IEC 62109, CEA regulations, and safety standards
