Key Responsibilities :
- Manage Delinquent Portfolio :
- Monitor and manage the delinquent customer base within the assigned location, identifying early warning signals and initiating corrective action plans.
- Ensure Collections Efficiency :
- Achieve targeted collections efficiency across all products through regular follow-ups, intensive recovery strategies, and proactive portfolio monitoring.
- Stakeholder Coordination :
- Liaise with legal teams, law enforcement agencies, and business teams for timely and compliant resolution of delinquent accounts.
- Documentation and Compliance :
- Ensure all collections activities are properly documented with clear audit trails in line with internal processes and compliance mandates.
- Recovery Planning :
- Work with non-performing / delinquent borrowers to negotiate and structure repayment plans, minimizing potential losses.
- External Agency Management :
- Coordinate with external vendor / collection agencies, overseeing performance, guiding recovery efforts, and ensuring adherence to ABHFL's policies.
- Portfolio Review and Reporting :
- Regularly review the status of the portfolio, report early stress accounts, and provide periodic MIS and exception reporting.
- Audit and Governance :
- Plan and implement periodic audits of the collections process to ensure process integrity and compliance with internal risk governance.
- Feedback and Strategy Enhancement :
- Provide feedback to regional and central teams on the effectiveness of existing collection strategies and support their enhancement.
