Job description
Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role :
1. Develop and implement a comprehensive GDPR compliance program tailored to the specific needs of the organization.
2. Conduct thorough assessments of existing data processing activities and ensure alignment with GDPR requirements.
3. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to identify and address areas of non-compliance and implement corrective actions.
4. Serve as the primary point of contact for data protection authorities, regulatory agencies, and internal stakeholders on GDPR-related matters.
5. Provide guidance and support to teams across the organization on data protection best practices and GDPR requirements.
6. Monitor changes in GDPR regulations and ensure timely updates to policies, procedures, and practices.
7. Conduct regular audits and assessments to measure the effectiveness of the GDPR compliance program and identify areas for improvement.
8. Develop and deliver training programs to raise awareness of GDPR requirements and promote a culture of data privacy within the organization.
9. Collaborate with legal counsel to ensure that contracts and agreements with third parties comply with GDPR requirements.
10. Prepare and maintain documentation, including data protection impact assessments, data processing agreements, and records of processing activities.
