As AI Manager – Custom Agents, you will be a hands-on technical leader—dedicating 80% of your time to designing, developing, and deploying AI-powered applications, while spending the remaining 20% guiding technical direction, mentoring team members, and ensuring project alignment with business goals. You’ll work closely with global stakeholders, data scientists, and engineers to deliver AI solutions that make a measurable impact on animal healthcare worldwide.

Responsibilities :

  • Front-end & back-end development :

o Design and implement user interfaces using react and other front-end technologies.

o Develop server-side logic using node.js, python and other languages.

§ Ensure Responsive design.

§ Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

§ Manage SQL interactions.

§ Integrate components seamlessly.

  • Problem-Solving and Attention to Detail :

    • o Demonstrate excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

    o Identify and resolve issues promptly within SLA guidelines, providing ongoing support to business users.

  • Deployment and Maintenance :

    • o Deploy applications to production environments.

    o Monitor and maintain applications post-deployment.

    o Implement updates and improvements based on user feedback.

  • Collaboration :

    • o Work closely with designers, product managers, and other developers.

    o Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

    o Communicate effectively to ensure project alignment and progress.

  • Continuous Learning :

    • o Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends.

    o Continuously improve skills and knowledge through training and practice.

    o Experiment with new tools and frameworks to enhance development processes.

    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

    Percent of Time

    Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered custom agents, integrating LLMs, RAG, and enterprise systems 50%

    Build and maintain APIs, vector databases, and AI pipelines for scalable deployment 30%

    Provide technical mentorship, conduct code reviews, and set engineering best practices 10%

    Collaborate with leadership to define AI strategies, priorities, and architecture standards 10%

    ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

  • Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities for AI adoption and automation.
  • Work closely with data scientists to integrate models into production environments.
  • Coordinate with DevOps, cloud engineering, and security teams to ensure AI applications meet compliance and performance standards.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers to upskill in AI and full-stack development.

    • EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    Education :

    Master’s degree in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field.

    Experience :

  • 8-12 years of experience in full-stack engineering with exposure to AI / ML projects.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and deploying LLM-based or RAG-powered applications.
  • Strong proficiency in React, Node.js, Python, and back-end frameworks.
  • Proven ability to mentor engineers while remaining hands-on in development.
  • Strong track record in integrating AI solutions into enterprise-grade applications.
  • Hands-on experience with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS, ChromaDB).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and AI services.

    • TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

  • Front-end : React, Next.js, TypeScript.
  • Back-end : Node.js, Python (FastAPI, Flask), REST / GraphQL APIs.
  • AI / ML : LLM APIs, LangChain, RAG, Prompt Engineering, Vector Databases.
  • Databases : PostgreSQL, SQL, NoSQL.
  • DevOps : CI / CD, Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Cloud : AWS, Azure, or GCP AI services.

    • PHYSICAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS

    Regular working hours are from 11 AM to 8 : 00 PM IST.

    Sometimes, more overlap with the EST Time zone is required during production go-live.
