The candidates are expected to have skills across the following :
Technical Expertise :
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure) - including infrastructure provisioning and cost optimization. [Primary : AWS].
- Experience with CI / CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools - Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
- Scripting and automation skills using Shell, Python, or similar.
- Monitoring, logging, and alerting tools - Prometheus, Grafana, ELK / EFK, Datadog, etc.
Security and Compliance :
Exposure to DevSecOps practices.Handling of secrets and credentials (e. g. AWS Secrets Manager, HashiCorp Vault).Experience with audits, vulnerability scans, and security remediation.Systems Reliability and Performance :
Concepts of High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), and auto-scaling.Incident response, root cause analysis, and preventive measures.Experience with SRE principles or operating within an SLO / SLA framework.Collaboration and Stakeholder Management :
Experience working closely with developers, QA, and product teams.Ability to mentor junior engineers and establish DevOps best practices.Communication skills to clearly articulate architecture, decisions, and trade-offs.Problem Solving and Ownership :
