Job descriptionOversee ESG data collection, validation, and reporting across functions. Ensure compliance with local and international ESG disclosure standards (e.G., SEBI BRSR, GRI, SASB, TCFD). Prepare and publish periodic ESG reports, sustainability disclosures, and stakeholder updates. Support investor and regulator queries on ESG performance and reporting. Collaborate with internal teams, portfolio companies, and external partners to implement ESG initiatives. Engage with investors, rating agencies, and auditors on ESG-related assessments and certifications. Drive awareness and training programs to build ESG capabilities across the organization. Develop KPIs to measure ESG performance and track progress against sustainability targets. Benchmark ESG practices against peers and recommend continuous improvement measures. Support due diligence and integration of ESG considerations in investment and lending decisions. Education : Master’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Studies, Finance, Economics, or related field. Experience : 5–8 years of relevant experience in ESG strategy, reporting, and compliance. Sector Preference : Experience in investment management, financial services, or related sectors preferred. Strong understanding of ESG frameworks, disclosure standards, and sustainability regulations. Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills. Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence senior stakeholders. Strategic thinking and sustainability mindset Strong grasp of ESG frameworks and regulatory landscape Data-driven and detail-oriented Excellent presentation and stakeholder management skills Proactive and self-starter approach
Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives. The ESG Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing the company’s ESG strategy, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards, and driving sustainability integration across business functions. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical, reporting, and stakeholder engagement skills, along with prior experience in ESG within the financial services or investment domain.
