🚨 JOB OPENING – MAINTENANCE MECHANIC 🚨

📍 Location : Caribbean (Site-Based Role)

🔧 Industry : Utilities / Plumbing / Mechanical Maintenance

🔍 We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Mechanic with strong plumbing and mechanical maintenance experience to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with plumbing systems and water distribution, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.

🧰 REQUIREMENTS – MANDATORY

✅ Minimum 3 years’ professional full-time experience in plumbing maintenance

✅ Knowledge of mechanical and plumbing methods, tools, equipment, and materials

✅ Ability to read maps and project layout diagrams

✅ Effective oral and written communication skills

✅ Valid Home Country Driver’s License required to obtain Base Driver’s License

✅ Must be able to pass test requirements to obtain D1 Certification and Backflow Preventer Certification (provided upon arrival)

🧭 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

🔧 Perform preventative maintenance on equipment such as valves, backflows, motors, and pumps

🛠️ Plan, organize, and execute regular maintenance of plumbing systems and water distribution activities

🔍 Inspect plumbing installations and perform repairs or sanitation of tools and equipment as needed

🧹 Maintain clean and organized workspaces and equipment

📞 Respond promptly to plumbing service calls and issues

📚 Stay up to date with safety regulations and plumbing compliance requirements

✅ Follow all plumbing regulations to ensure systems pass inspections

🤝 Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and supervisors

📄 Keep detailed and accurate reports of work performed at job sites

🚗 Drive company vehicles safely to various work locations

🕒 Flexible to work irregular hours including evenings, weekends, holidays, and other unusual schedules

🛡️ Work safely in challenging environments, including hot climates

📋 Submit all required reports (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual) as per contract obligations

🛠️ Manage purchase requisitions for supplies and maintain water inventory equipment, parts, and tools
