Lead / Staff Product Designer :
We're seeking a Staff Product Designer to join our design team as a senior-level individual contributor. In this role, you'll work with a high degree of autonomy, leading the design of major features and product lines that have significant business impact. You'll be a strategic partner to product and engineering leadership while mentoring other designers on the team. This is a role for a highly user-centric designer who thrives on uncovering deep user insights and translating them into elegant, impactful product experiences. You'll drive both problem and solution discovery, working directly with users to ensure we're solving the right problems in the right ways.

What You’ll Do
Lead strategic design initiatives for major features or product lines, owning the design process from research and discovery through delivery.Drive AI driven user research programs that uncover deep insights to inform product strategy and direction, working directly with credit union and community bank customers using AI.Partner with product and engineering leadership to define product strategy, roadmaps, and vision.Mentor and guide junior and mid-level designers, raising the design bar across the organization through feedback, critique, and strategic guidanceChampion user-centric design practices throughout the organization, ensuring user needs remain at the center of product decisions.Facilitate problem and solution discovery sessions with users, translating findings into actionable design directions.Design end-to-end experiences for complex B2B SaaS products serving the financial services industry.Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ship high-impact products.Contribute to and evolve our design system, ensuring consistency and quality across the platform.Job Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field.8-12 years of professional product design experience.Strong portfolio showcasing a track record of successfully shipping high-impact products, particularly in B2B SaaS or fintech environments.Proficiency with AI-powered design tools and workflows, with demonstrated ability to integrate AI into the design process to improve efficiency and output quality.Demonstrate expertise in user research methodologies and the ability to derive strategic insights from user data.Proven ability to lead complex design projects with minimal oversight, from concept to launchExperience mentoring designers and contributing to team growth.Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and best practicesExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions to stakeholders at all levels.Strong systems thinking and ability to balance user needs with business goals and technical constraintsAbout Eltropy
