A key role in this process is that of the Lead Data Engineer, who works closely with business leads, analysts, data scientists, and fellow engineers to develop and manage transports / data pipelines.

This individual will be responsible for exploring new technologies and designing complex data modeling scenarios. They should have hands-on experience in SQL, Python, Java, or Scala programming, as well as a strong understanding of version control software like Git.

A successful Lead Data Engineer at our company collaborates with multiple teams to build scalable and optimized data solutions. This involves proposing ways to improve our platform and tools, leveraging expertise in building complex stored procedures and transformations.

We are looking for someone with 7-10 years of experience in building data pipelines or data ingestion from different sources to a data warehouse or lake. Experience leading and delivering data warehousing and analytics projects is highly desirable, particularly knowledge of BigData tools like Hadoop, Hive, Spark, and Presto.
