Requirements
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Business Development professional to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have at least 4+ years of experience in SaaS sales , with a proven track record of driving new business, building long-term client relationships, and achieving ambitious revenue targets. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities, leading client engagements, managing the end-to-end sales cycle, and contributing to the overall growth of the organization. You will work closely with internal stakeholders including product, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure seamless client experiences and consistent value delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- New Business Development
- Drive SaaS product sales by identifying and qualifying leads, building a strong pipeline, and converting opportunities into long-term customers.
- Research markets, industries, and competitors to uncover new opportunities and design tailored sales strategies.
- Build strong relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders at client organizations to position SaaS offerings effectively.
- Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute go-to-market (GTM) plans for SaaS products.
- Conduct product demos, presentations, and workshops tailored to client needs.
- Manage the end-to-end sales cycle including prospecting, negotiations, contract closures, and handover to customer success teams.
- Consistently achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Client Relationship Management
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business challenges and aligning solutions to drive measurable impact.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships to maximize renewals, upselling, and cross-selling opportunities.
- Work closely with the customer success team to ensure smooth onboarding and satisfaction.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with marketing teams to design effective campaigns that generate qualified leads.
- Provide feedback to product and engineering teams to influence product roadmap and enhancements based on customer insights.
- Collaborate with leadership to refine pricing, packaging, and market positioning strategies.
- Reporting & Analytics
- Track sales metrics and provide regular performance reports and pipeline forecasts.
- Use CRM tools effectively to manage pipeline, customer data, and engagement history.
- Continuously analyze sales processes and improve conversion rates and sales effectiveness.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related discipline.4+ years of proven experience in SaaS sales or B2B enterprise sales.Strong understanding of SaaS business models, customer acquisition, and subscription revenue strategies.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Experience using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho).Ability to understand technical products and explain value propositions to non-technical stakeholders.Proven ability to manage long and complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.Strong problem-solving, analytical, and business acumen skills.Preferred Attributes
Experience in global SaaS markets and selling to international clients.Prior exposure to vertical SaaS solutions or industry-specific platforms.Familiarity with consultative and solution-selling approaches.Highly motivated, target-driven, and adaptable in dynamic business environments.
