DATA ARCHITECT

We are looking for an experienced hands-on Data Architect to design and manage data architecture solutions that enable our organization to derive actionable insights from large and complex data sets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data architecture and data engineering, with experience in cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform (GCP) as a significant advantage. YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities

• Data Architecture Design - Design, develop, and maintain scalable, efficient, and secure data architectures.

Create data models, database schemas, and data flow diagrams to meet business needs.

Develop a data architecture roadmap that aligns with organizational goals. Evaluate and recommend appropriate data management technologies and tools.

Implement database technologies (relational, NoSQL, data warehouses, etc.) that best meet the needs of the organization.

Stay up to date with emerging data technologies and industry trends. Data Integration and Management.

Design and implement ETL / ELT processes to integrate data from various sources into centralized data repositories.

Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across all data stores.

Implement best practices for data lifecycle management, including data retention, archiving, and purging.

Monitor the performance of data architecture solutions and make adjustments to improve efficiency and scalability.

Optimize databases, queries, and data processing jobs for performance and cost effectiveness. - Implement data security measures to protect sensitive information and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Establish data governance frameworks to manage data usage, quality, and access controls.

Collaboration and Leadership - Work closely with data engineers, product owners and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data engineers.

Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to ensure data solutions are aligned with overall IT infrastructure.

Excellent English verbal and written communication skills

SHORTLIST REQUIREMENTS - Bachelor / master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field from Tier 1 institute

10+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or a related role.

Proven experience in designing and implementing complex data architectures.
