Job Description

Job Title : IT Business Partner – Commercials

Location : Mumbai

Reporting To : India IT Head

Team Size : 3 to 5 Members

Experience : 12+ years (preferred)

Essential Functions

  • Serve as the primary liaison between IT and Commercial business teams.
  • Lead and implement commercial excellence initiatives across sales, marketing, and customer engagement.
  • Drive the adoption of digital technologies including AI / ML and Generative AI to enhance business performance.
  • Manage end-to-end CRM strategy including system implementation, enhancement, governance, and performance tracking.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of key commercial platforms including LMS and E-Detailing tools.
  • Ensure technology solutions align with business strategies and goals.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of 3–5 IT professionals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support effective change management and ensure high user adoption of IT tools.
  • Monitor project KPIs and ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
  • Stay updated with emerging digital trends and identify opportunities for innovation.
  • Represent IT in strategic business discussions and planning.

    • Qualifications

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Education

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • MBA or equivalent qualification will be an added advantage.

    • Experience

  • Minimum of 12 years of IT experience, preferably in business partnering roles supporting commercial functions.
  • Proven experience in managing CRM systems and digital transformation projects.
  • Prior experience in pharma or healthcare industry will be preferred.

    • Skills

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Deep knowledge of CRM platforms, LMS, and E-Detailing tools.
  • Solid understanding of AI / ML / Generative AI technologies and their commercial application.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in change management and project governance.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to translate business needs into IT solutions.
