Skills :
SAP CPI integrations, Employee Central (EC) to SAP ERP systems, SAP HR module, API, CSV, SFTP, or IDOC, Debug SAP ABAP programs, infotype mapping, data validation, and transformation logic
Key Responsibilities :
- Analyze and understand integration interfaces and business rules behind SAP CPI integrations (not development-focused)
- Serve as point of contact to clarify integration logic for technical teams
- Review Employee Central (EC) employee profiles to identify and resolve data errors impacting integrations
- Communicate with application owners to discuss data received via API, CSV, SFTP, or IDOC, and relate it to EC data as well as CPI technical developers.
- Oversee the configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of Employee and Organizational data replication from Employee Central (EC) to SAP ERP systems
- Debug SAP ABAP programs and use relevant SAP transactions to investigate issues (e.g., IDOC replication, infotype management, user lifecycle)
- Analyze and resolve replication errors, including those related to infotype mapping, data validation, and transformation logic. Proactively identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain and update mapping tables and transformation logic to ensure accurate data transfer between EC and SAP, adapting to changes in business requirements or system upgrades.
- Maintain strong knowledge of the SAP HR module, including infotypes, data structures, and integration points
- Collaborate with HR, IT, and external partners to ensure smooth and compliant data flows
- Document integration logic, troubleshooting steps, replication processes, data flows, error handling procedures, and escalation paths.
Education and experience :
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience with SAP Employee Central and SAP HR moduleStrong technical knowledge of SAP integrations, including CPI, IDOC, API, SFTP, and CSV data flows using CPISAP BADI Implementation : Experience in identifying, analyzing, and supporting SAP Business Add-Ins (BADIs) relevant to HR and integration processes.Experience with SAP ABAP debugging and relevant SAP HR transactionsAbility to analyze and interpret business rules and integration logicExcellent communication skills to interact with technical teams and business stakeholdersStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailExperience configuring and supporting employee data replication between EC and other SAP systems is mandatoryProficiency in monitoring and analyzing IDOC processing, including error resolution and reprocessingProficiency in English is mandatorySkills and behavioral competencies :
