Descrial is technology product unit of TresVista with a mandate to build technology that can disrupt the private equity space. The unit is on mission to build what we call as Operating System for Investment work(W-OS) delivering smarter and faster ways of diligence, analysis and recommendation for investment decisions.

Overview

In this role you will be closely working with design leadership, product managers, marketers and developers to design the best looking investment research technology of the planet. You will be expected to optimize all aspects of user experience with technology. As a designer you will own entire design stack- web interface, app interface, branding and marketing collateral. Your design should bring intuitiveness and ease of use for the use cases. The role shall provide opportunity to be part of product that is being built for industry disruption. The incumbent will be key person in deciding all aspect of tech product design – styles guides, standards, typography, graphic design approaches, UI pattern libraries – both their creation and usage.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop Users Journeys, approach backed by research and customer behavior
• Build UI mockups, (low- and high-fidelity) wireframes, animations, flow diagrams, storyboards, sitemaps, and prototypes that clearly illustrate how new app features / new web interfaces works.
• Liaise with the Product team to understand user needs, psychology & product USPs and use it to design smooth in-app user experiences
• Adhering to style standards on typography and graphic design
• Have an iterative mindset- no design is perfect on the first attempt.
• Design mechanisms to collect user feedback and continuously improve on your designs.
• Conduct user interviews and online research to define and understand our user personas
• Participate and contribute in business and product discussions
• Front-end development of responsive UI solutions following good coding practices, including creation / correction of CSS, and transforming mock-ups into semantic HTML and development of innovative solutions for different platforms as well as integration with DBs or other server-side logic
• Be opinionated and back those opinions with strong logic.
• Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
