Qpi AI Quantum hardware team is responsible for designing and characterisation of Quantum Processor, Cryogenic Quantum Control Circuits, RF Control Hardware, and Qpi AI ASGP.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated researcher for theoretical modeling of our quantum processors to join our cutting-edge research and development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building quantum mechanical models of coupled superconducting qubit systems and performing numerical simulations of superconducting circuit properties and dynamics, focusing on the error correction of quantum devices. This role involves working closely with our processor design team to develop superconducting qubit architectures and control schemes.

Requirements

MSc / M. Tech / Ph D Degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on quantum mechanics or quantum technology.

Strong understanding of quantum mechanics, particularly the concept of Hamiltonian Engineering and its applications

Knowledge and strong understanding of circuit QED, error-correction schemes in superconducting qubits

Expertise in numerical methods and computational modeling

Programming skills in relevant quantum computing platforms

Experience in the development of experimental protocols for measuring device parameters such as coherence times, gate fidelities, quantum state, and process tomography.

Proven track record of successful projects and publications in peer-reviewed journals in the field of quantum technology.

Familiarity with bosonic codes and autonomous error correction techniques is a plus

Experience in writing analysis reports to help the definition of Do E and improvement plan for experimentation plan is a plus

Good problem-solving and communication skills

Should be a good team player
