Job Summary :
We are looking for a hands-on Embedded Hardware Engineer to work as an individual contributor in the design and development of embedded systems and power electronics . The ideal candidate should have strong fundamentals in electronics , practical experience with embedded hardware design.
Key Responsibilities :
Design and develop hardware for ECUs , DC-DC converters
Schematic and PCB design using Altium Designer and KiCad .
Work on STM32-based controllers , NXP MPU, including basic firmware loading, debugging, and board bring-up.
Perform soldering and assembly of development boards for prototyping and testing.
Validate and debug hardware using lab equipment (oscilloscope, multimeter, etc.).
Prepare complete documentation : schematics , BOMs , test reports , design files , and bring-up logs.
Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and testing teams to ensure product quality.
Apply solid knowledge of power electronics , including switching regulators , MOSFET drivers , gate drivers , and thermal considerations .
Must-Have Skills :
Strong understanding of electronics fundamentals and power electronics .
Experience designing DC-DC converters (buck, boost, buck-boost, isolated topologies).
Basic experience with STM32 controllers and embedded systems.
Proficient with Altium Designer and KiCad .
Experience in soldering and hands-on prototyping .
Comfortable working independently on end-to-end hardware development.
Good documentation practices – ability to maintain clear design files, test reports, and logs.
Familiarity with common communication protocols : UART , I2C , SPI , CAN .
Preferred / Added Advantage :
Experience working on GSM, BLE, SOM board
Understanding or experience with automotive standards and guidelines :
AEC-Q100 (Automotive Electronic Component Qualification)
ISO 26262 (Functional Safety)
Prior experience with automotive domain.
