Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Piping Design Engineer to design, develop, and optimize piping systems for industrial and commercial projects. The ideal candidate must possess strong technical expertise in piping layouts, isometric drawings, and 3D modeling, ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and review piping layouts, isometric drawings, and material specifications as per project requirements.

Prepare and check piping GA drawings, support drawings, and equipment layouts.

Coordinate with process, mechanical, structural, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless project execution.

Perform pipe stress analysis and ensure compliance with ASME, API, and other relevant standards.

Prepare bills of materials (BOM) and material take-offs for procurement.

Participate in design reviews, HAZOP studies, and project meetings.

Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and environmental standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Support site teams with design clarifications, modifications, and as-built documentation.

Troubleshoot design issues and provide technical solutions during project execution.

Maintain and update design documentation, project reports, and drawing archives.

Essential Qualifications :

Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Proven experience in piping design for oil & gas, petrochemical, power plant, or industrial projects.

Strong understanding of piping codes and standards (ASME, ANSI, API, ISO).

Skills Required :

Proficiency in 2D / 3D design software such as AutoCAD, Plant 3D, PDMS, or SmartPlant.

Knowledge of piping stress analysis tools (, CAESAR II).

Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, equipment drawings, and engineering specifications.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical drawing skills.

Excellent communication and coordination abilities.

Attention to detail and adherence to project deadlines.
