The Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Travel Consultant with proven experience in selling vacation packages and cruises. The successful candidate must be proficient with Canadian package booking platforms and have strong sales skills.

This is a sales-focused role; you’ll be advising clients on Caribbean destinations, US cruises, and air-inclusive packages while consistently achieving revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound calls, chats, and online inquiries in a professional manner
  • Sell Caribbean and US cruise vacations departing from Canada (YVR, YYZ, YUL, etc.)
  • Build and manage bookings through Softvoyage, Sirev, TravelBrands, WestJet Vacations, Air Canada Vacations, and other platforms
  • Recommend and upsell air + cruise bundles, hotels, excursions, and cabin upgrades
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales and conversion targets
  • Deliver excellent customer service and resolve client concerns promptly
  • Stay current on cruise line promotions, supplier incentives, and industry trends

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a retail or wholesale travel agency
  • Strong sales background in packages and / or cruise holidays
  • Proficiency with Canadian package platforms : Softvoyage, Sirev, TravelBrands, WestJet Vacations, Air Canada Vacations (mandatory)
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and client service skills
  • Knowledge of Caribbean destinations and US cruise ports
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment with Canadian business hours

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with group bookings and cruise group sales
  • Cruise-specific training or certifications (e.g., CLIA, cruise line academies)
  • Experience building complex itineraries combining air, cruise, and land packages
