Role Overview :
The Area Head CSB (Prime Brokers) is responsible for developing new business in commercial insurance lines and strengthening broker relationships within the assigned geography.
The role involves strategic business acquisition, portfolio growth, and ensuring excellent service delivery to corporate and SME clients.
Key Responsibilities :
- Drive new business development across commercial insurance lines (Property, Engineering, Marine, etc.
- Build, nurture, and manage strong relationships with brokers, intermediaries, and corporate clients.
- Identify new opportunities and convert leads into long-term partnerships.
- Ensure client retention and satisfaction through high-quality service delivery.
- Work closely with underwriting, risk inspection, and reinsurance teams for quotes and policy structuring.
- Manage renewals, ensure profitability, and maintain desired business mix.
- Achieve business productivity targets and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Prepare and submit sales performance reports to senior management.
- Travel extensively within the assigned region to meet business goals.
Qualifications & Experience :
MBA in Marketing with a minimum of 4 years post-qualification experience, including at least 3 years in General Insurance corporate sales and broking relationships.Alternatively, a graduate with 6+ years of total experience and a minimum of 3 years in GI corporate sales and broking.In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance lines and local market dynamics.Strong networking, negotiation, and relationship management skills.Target-driven, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure.Reporting Structure :
