1DS manages $300million+ annual retail media across 100+ consumer brands. This role reports to respective VP, Media and involves crafting monthly media strategy, overseeing media execution, daily / weekly reporting and also monthly plan vs. reporting and insights
This is a very high execution laden hands on and client facing role with the comfort of being very defensible from profitable P / L
Role Description
We are seeking a highly analytical and client-focused Associate Director with strong experience in account management, data-driven strategy, and performance marketing. The ideal candidate should have proven expertise in client engagement, reporting, and business operations, and preferably bring experience from a startup or entrepreneurial environment
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a strategic partner to clients, offering actionable insights and solutions to their complex business and operational challenges..
Collaborate with product, tech, and business teams to deliver high-impact, insight-led outcomes.
Understand business processes, data flows, tools, and technology to translate business needs into analytical solutions and provide data-backed recommendations
Work across multiple client engagements, applying analytics, business storytelling, and project management skills.
Manage end-to-end client relationships, including onboarding, communication,delivery and issue resolution.
Collaborate on performance marketing strategies to boost ROI and campaign effectiveness
Lead, mentor, and manage teams to ensure high performance and delivery excellence.
Requirements
2–5 years of experience in client / account management, performance marketing, or business strategy
Experience in driving operational efficiency and executing strategic initiative
Startup / entrepreneurial experience; ex-founder or founder office preferred
Excellent client handling,communication(written and verbal), and stakeholder management
A proactive, organized team player who can thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
Bonus : Interest in ecommerce, marketing tech, or B2B SaaS
Qualification-MBA from Tier-1 institute preferred
