Job Description :

We are looking for ETL Tester who is responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of data as it moves through the ETL process, from source systems to data warehouses or other target destinations. This involves designing, developing, and executing test plans and cases, validating data transformations, and identifying and reporting defects.

Key Responsibilities :

• Test Planning and Execution : Designing and executing test plans, test cases, and scripts for ETL processes, including functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Data Validation : Verifying data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across different systems (source, staging, and target) using SQL and other tools.
• Defect Management : Identifying, documenting, and reporting defects, issues, and risks related to ETL processes, and collaborating with developers to resolve them.
• Collaboration : Working closely with developers, data analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure that the ETL system meets business needs.
• Data Quality : Ensuring data quality throughout the ETL pipeline by profiling data, identifying data quality issues, and working with the team to resolve them.
• Documentation : Creating and maintaining test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test results.
• Performance Testing : Ensuring the ETL system meets performance requirements by conducting performance testing and identifying bottlenecks.
• Code Reviews : Participating in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Continuous Improvement : Continuously evaluating and improving ETL testing processes and frameworks.
