Criteria for selection :

• Experience : 3-6 years in Supply Planning from Manufacturing Industry & preferably in Chemical, Pharma, or FMCG
• Qualification : B.E. (Chemical) (Preferred)

Duties / Responsibilities / Activities :

1. Supply Chain Planning & Coordination :

a. Assist in organizing and supporting the Supply Review meetings with the Plant team to ensure production plans are completed on time.

b. Support the S&OP process by collaborating with the Production and Purchase teams to align material and production requirements.

c. Maintain & update the Production / material planning system, ensuring accurate data flow & visibility of inventory levels.

2. Inventory Management & Optimization :

a. Help track and manage inventory levels, aiming to improve efficiency and reduce non-moving inventory at the FM / SFM level.

b. Assist in identifying risks to supply levels and production schedules, supporting corrective actions to maintain stock availability.

c. Monitor key metrics such as Slow Moving / Obsolute (SLOB) inventory and assist in maintaining optimal stock levels.

3. Production Scheduling & Dispatch :

a. Assist in coordinating production schedules with dispatch timelines, ensuring on-time delivery of materials.

b. Work with the dispatch team to plan stock replenishment in an efficient manner and minimize logistics costs.

c. Track and communicate any issues related to delays or production hold-ups to relevant teams for resolution.

4. Process Support & Cross-functional Collaboration :

a. Update the RM team on raw material requirements following S&OP meetings, ensuring material needs are aligned with production plans.

b. Participate in meetings with the quality and production teams to monitor and address any material quality issues.

c. Work with R&D team for understanding New Product Development requirements & providing production slots for them.

d. Support ongoing process improvements, offering feedback on system and process efficiency.

5. Customer Service & Reporting :

a. Assist in tracking and reporting key supply chain metrics such as customer service levels, inventory turnover, and production compliance.

b. Support the creation of regular reports to senior management on supply chain performance and status.

c. Ensure timely execution of tasks to meet deadlines, supporting the overall supply chain performance and customer satisfaction.
