Key Responsibilities :

Job Description / Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and optimize ABAP programs, CDS views, and OData services in S / 4HANA.
  • Build and expose OData services for integration with Fiori / UI5 applications and external systems.
  • Enhance and customize standard SAP functionality using modern ABAP techniques.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Conduct performance tuning, troubleshooting, and debugging of custom developments.
  • Ensure adherence to SAP best practices and coding standards.

Required Skills & Experience :

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.

    • Strong expertise in :

  • Core Data Services (CDS Views) creation, annotations, associations, and consumption.
  • OData Services development, extension, and integration with SAP Fiori / UI5.
  • Proficiency in Object-Oriented ABAP, Enhancements, BADIs, User Exits, and BAPIs.
  • Good understanding of S / 4HANA data models and performance-optimized coding.
  • Experience working in Agile / DevOps environments is a plus.

    • Nice-to-Have Skills :

  • Exposure to SAP Fiori / UI5 development.
  • Knowledge of AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures) and HANA SQL scripting.
  • Familiarity with integration scenarios (Gateway, REST, SOAP, RFCs).

    • Soft Skills :

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
