Job descriptionStrong experience in Kong administration and development . Solid understanding of API design (REST, OpenAPI) and microservices architecture . Proficient in Lua and Python scripting. Knowledge of DevOps tools (Git, CI / CD). Experience with Kubernetes , Kong Ingress , and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Familiarity with API security (OAuth, OIDC, Auth0) and testing tools (Postman, JMeter, Insomnia). Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills. Bachelor s degree in computer science or related field. Kong certification preferred.

Job Roles & Responsibilities : -
- Design, develop, and configure Kong entities (services, routes, plugins, caching, API management).
- Create and customize Kong plugins; implement request / response transformations.
- Develop custom Lua scripts for extended functionality.
- Integrate Kong with APIs, backend systems, and DevOps pipelines.
- Manage API security authentication, authorization, rate limiting, RBAC.
- Implement traffic management (load balancing, caching).
- Monitor and troubleshoot Kong performance issues.
- Maintain API documentation via Kong Developer Portal.
- Stay updated on new Kong features and best practices.
