Position : Consultant / Senior Consultant

The job involves working with the UK Site Assessment & Remediation business. We currently have an opportunity for a Consultant / Senior Consultant to join the AtkinsRéalis Global Technology Centre in Mumbai, India. The work involves UK projects being delivered by AtkinsRéalis across a range of market sectors like Highways, Rails, Tunnels, including the development of Cities, Mass Transit and Energy infrastructure.

We are looking for an individual with proven experience in Environmental Site Assessments and Investigation, chemical assessment and quantitative risk assessment relating to land contamination and brownfield regeneration, to join our reputable Environment team and support an expanding project workload and client base.

Mandatory Requirements :

• 5-12 years’ experience encompassing project coordination and project management and with emphasis in the areas of contaminated site assessment, remediation, and reclamation.
• Post Graduate Degree qualified in a relevant engineering or science subject (e.g. geology, geosciences, chemistry, environmental science and hydrogeology).
• The ability to work well in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills and experience in public facing roles such as responding to questions and interacting with the public on large-scale development or environmental projects.
• Experience working closely with regions on large, multi-year projects.
• Self-motivated, high energy, strong organizational and time management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in the English language.
• Capable of understanding and appropriately applying prescribed safety and technical protocols.
• Experience in routine statistical analysis would be an asset.
