We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Production Planning and Control professional to join our team at Isha Life, Madampatty. The role involves overseeing production scheduling, material planning, inventory management, and MIS reporting to ensure seamless manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong ERP expertise, analytical ability, and a continuous improvement mindset to support efficiency, compliance, and on-time delivery.
Key Responsibilities
1. Production Planning
- Develop and maintain production schedules aligned with sales and operational requirements.
- Forecast raw material, packaging, and manpower requirements.
- Monitor capacity planning to prevent bottlenecks and optimize throughput.
2. Material Planning & Coordination
Share detailed material requirements with procurement teams.Coordinate with procurement and vendors to ensure timely supply of raw and packaging materials.Track material lead times and ensure Just-in-Time (JIT) availability.3. Inventory Management
Maintain optimal levels of raw materials, semi-finished, and finished goods.Conduct regular inventory audits and implement optimization strategies.Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure storage compliance with food safety standards.4. Production Control
Track production progress and ensure schedule adherence.Identify deviations, delays, and initiate corrective measures.Coordinate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime.5. MIS Reporting & Analytics
Generate accurate MIS reports and dashboards using ERP systems.Analyze plant performance metrics (efficiency, delivery, inventory turnover).Collaborate with IT / ERP teams to streamline reporting processes.6. Resource Management & Process Improvement
Optimize utilization of manpower, equipment, and materials.Participate in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements (FSSAI, HACCP, ISO).Skills & Competencies
Education : Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.Experience : 3–5 years in production planning, inventory / material management, and ERP-based reporting, preferably in the food manufacturing industry .Technical Skills :Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics).Advanced MS Excel; data visualization (Power BI, Tableau).Strong understanding of lean manufacturing and inventory control.Knowledge of food safety standards (FSSAI, HACCP, ISO).Why Join Us
