Growth Design Specialist

KaaryaConnect is building a high-trust local-services marketplace in India. We are mobile-first and value reliability, speed, and clarity. We keep scope tight, ship quickly, and prioritize real user value over fluff.

Role Summary

You will own design end-to-end across discovery, IA, flows, visual design, prototyping, handoff, and post-launch iteration. You must work independently, drive the project from zero to live, and collaborate tightly with engineering and growth. You will also run scrappy digital marketing design tasks that move top-of-funnel metrics.

What You’ll Do

• Run lightweight research : stakeholder chats, 5–8 user interviews, quick usability tests.
• Define IA, user flows, and edge cases for provider onboarding, listings, search, booking, payments, and notifications.
• Produce wireframes and high-fidelity UI for mobile and web.
• Build clickable prototypes to validate before development.
• Maintain a lean design system with tokens, components, and states.
• Create dev-ready specs and redlines;
• support clean React / Next handoff;

review staging builds.

• Design growth assets : landing pages, email templates, WhatsApp creatives, ad banners, simple reels, and microcopy.
• Instrument designs with events and funnels;

iterate weekly using data and support tickets.

• Ensure accessibility basics and performance-friendly UI.
• Own outcomes : faster task success, higher conversion, lower drop-offs.

Must-have Qualifications

• 3+ years shipping production UI / UX for mobile-first products with a strong portfolio of shipped work.
• Expert in Figma : auto-layout, components / variants, styles / tokens, interactive prototypes.
• End-to-end ownership : discovery to launch to iteration with minimal supervision.
• Digital marketing design chops : landing pages, ad creatives, email / WhatsApp templates, lightweight motion.
• Basic analytics literacy : Mixpanel or GA4 funnels, event mapping, and interpreting simple A / B results.
• Handoff literacy : clean specs, components aligned to Tailwind / shadcn / ui constraints.
• Clear written communication and microcopy skills.

Nice-to-have

• Marketplace or fintech flows exposure (KYC, payouts, refunds).
• Basic HTML / CSS knowledge.
• Hindi or Telugu for field research.
• Familiarity with Storybook or Zeplin.
• Pragmatic motion design for feedback and clarity.
