Description
The Rural Development Officer will be responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing various rural development initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life in rural areas. This role requires strong community engagement skills and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to achieve sustainable development goals.
Responsibilities
- Conduct field surveys and assessments to identify the needs of rural communities.
- Develop and implement rural development programs and projects.
- Coordinate with government agencies, NGOs, and local communities to promote sustainable development initiatives.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of development projects and prepare reports.
- Facilitate training sessions and workshops for community members on various development topics.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Rural Development, Social Work, Agriculture, or related fields.3-7 years of experience in rural development or community engagement roles.Strong understanding of rural issues and development policies in India.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.Proficiency in data collection and analysis, including the use of statistical tools.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.Skills Required
