Client Engagement & Solution Design : Work closely with clients to understand their unique business challenges and security needs, translating those into tailored Cisco-based solutions (e.g., Cisco networking, security, collaboration, and cloud products).
Pre-Sales Consulting : Provide expert-level guidance to clients during the presales phase, including solution design, technical specifications, and strategic roadmap development.
Product Demonstrations & Presentations : Deliver engaging product demonstrations, presentations, and workshops to key stakeholders, showcasing the value of Cisco s portfolio in addressing client business and IT objectives .
Proof of Concept (PoC) : Lead and manage PoC activities to validate Cisco solutions, providing clients with a hands-on experience of Cisco technology capabilities.
Proposal Development : Develop and present detailed solution proposals, technical documentation, and high-level architecture diagrams that align with client requirements and Cisco s best practices.
Collaboration with Sales & Engineering Teams : Work closely with Cisco account managers, sales teams, and engineering teams to drive the sales process, ensuring a unified approach in addressing customer needs.
Industry Expertise & Thought Leadership : Stay up to date with the latest trends in networking, security, cloud, and collaboration technologies, contributing thought leadership and expertise in client conversations.
Technical Validation & Risk Mitigation : Ensure that proposed solutions are technically sound, scalable, and align with industry standards and best practices, mitigating any potential risks.
Qualifications :
Technical Expertise : In-depth knowledge of Cisco technologies, including but not limited to Cisco routing, switching, security, wireless, collaboration (Cisco WebEx ), and cloud solutions (Cisco Meraki, Cisco Umbrella, etc.).
Presales Experience : Minimum of 5 years in a presales role as a Solution Architect or similar, with a proven track record in designing and delivering Cisco solutions.
Solution Architecture : Strong ability to design end-to-end Cisco architectures that meet customer requirements, including high availability, scalability, and security.
Business Acumen : Strong understanding of client business drivers, with the ability to align technology solutions with business outcomes.
Certifications : Cisco certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, or Cisco security certifications (e.g., CCSP, CISSP) are highly desirable.
Communication & Presentation Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
Collaboration & Teamwork : Proven ability to work in a collaborative team environment, supporting both sales and engineering teams to achieve business goals.
Problem -Solving & Innovation : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and propose innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.
