What we're looking for

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with solar project requirements.
• Lead vendor selection, negotiation, and relationship management.
• Manage contract drafting, finalization, and compliance.
• Coordinate logistics and inventory for timely material availability.
• Monitor market trends and pricing for cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project management and finance.
• Conduct supplier research and performance evaluations.
• Generate procurement performance reports and insights.
• Lead risk identification and mitigation related to procurement.
• Mentor procurement team members and promote a high-performance culture.
• Implement sustainable and environmentally responsible procurement practices.
• Integrate and optimize procurement processes through digital tools and technology.
  
  

Applicant requirements

• B.E/B.Tech (Electrical/Mechanical) or a related field. MBA is a plus.
• Minimum 5-6 years of procurement experience, preferably in solar or renewable energy sector.
• Strong understanding of procurement, supply chain, cost management, and contracts.
• Proven leadership experience and ability to manage procurement for large-scale projects.
• Proficiency in procurement software, ERP tools, and digital procurement platforms.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel and understanding of renewable energy market trends.
