Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a BIM QA / QC Specialist. The BIM QA / QC Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance and control processes across all BIM deliverables. This role ensures that models meet project standards, comply with industry protocols, and support efficient collaboration among stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement BIM quality control procedures and checklists.
• Conduct regular audits of BIM models to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.
• Collaborate with BIM Coordinators and discipline leads to resolve modeling issues and improve workflows.
• Maintain and enforce BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and project-specific standards.
• Utilize model-checking tools (e.g., Solibri, Navisworks, Revit plugins) to validate geometry, data, and coordination.
• Provide training and support to project teams on BIM quality standards and best practices.
• Monitor and report on quality metrics, issues, and improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate clash detection and resolution processes across disciplines.
