Position for “Artist Agent" (Actors)

About the Role

Talent agents are considered gatekeepers to their Artist's careers. They are dealmakers and assist their Artist(s) by orchestrating deals within the entertainment industry. During pre-production, the agent must liaise with the casting directors, film directors and the producer, to assemble, pitch the talents for various Films / Web shows / Web Films / Short Films / TV Shows. Consequently, the Agent must have in depth and up to date knowledge of new and existing acting talent(s) as well as projects in development in the industry. They are responsible for identifying talents, pitching them, matching the ideal actor to each role, based on a number of factors, such as the actor's experience, ability, reputation, availability and box office appeal. Artist Agents labor to find films / web series for Artists by reviewing production connects, casting directors’ network and working contacts to investigate new projects that are in development. When the agent identifies a potential project that is suited to the talent he or she represents, the agent will attempt to set up an audition with the casting director or book a meeting for the client with the producer and director.

Job Type : Full-time
Salary : INR 5,00,000 to INR 8,00,000 per annum (Depending on experience)
Position of a Artist Agent for Actors
Timing : 11am to 8pm - Days : Mon to Fri (Any 1 Saturday of the month working)

Responsibilities and Duties

Representing our exclusive Artists (Actors)

Building a personal rapport with the Artists to understand their personality & culture of working

Executing shoots, travel, commissioned jobs and logistical requirements for the talent

Aggressive Pitching to all Casting Agents, Film Casting agencies, OTT platforms, Film Directors, Producers, Production houses etc rigorously.

Build a road map for the concerned talent evaluating the existing talent’s position and market competition, planning the upwards strategy to a growth ladder and executing the same

Read scripts to give a summary or the role. Set up audition for the artist

Negotiating and booking all deals for Artist(s), from quotations, legal formalities to complete on-ground management

Carrying out all the productions coordination for the Artist(s) for all the shoots and events

Building a network within the industry. Maintain relationship with all stakeholders

Strategizing, Executing and Cooperating with the Publicist on all PR activities.

Key Requirements an ideal candidate should posses

Minimum of 3 + years of relevant experience

In depth knowledge & interest of Bollywood industry – actors, directors, producers etc

Well dressed, presentable, confident & assertive (few basic traits)

No reservations to go beyond working hours to meet the deadline / timelines

Open to review and evaluation of performance / contribution on regular basis

Excellent written and verbal communication - English & Hindi is must

Strategic planner and active thinker with an eye to deliver

Self- Motivated
