As a Software Development Engineer on our AB 3P Tech team youll work with a highly technical entrepreneurial team building distributed systems that power the B2B selling experience. Youll drive end-to-end development from design to delivery make strategic technology decisions and mentor junior engineering talent. Your team will own critical systems spanning from Seller Central to Amazon Business detail pages cart and checkout for merchant-fulfilled offers.

Key job responsibilities

Youll architect and build scalable solutions using Web Services APIs and Micro-Services architecture. Working within our entrepreneurial team youll drive development of high-performance systems implementing industry-leading design patterns and coding practices.

Your role combines technical leadership with hands-on development. Youll mentor junior engineers while partnering with stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions. Strong communication skills are essential as youll lead technical discussions and influence architectural decisions.

Youll contribute to innovation through emerging technologies and business challenges. Youll own software engineering practices throughout the development lifecycle - from coding standards and reviews to build processes and operations while helping establish engineering excellence.

• 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2 years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• 3 years of Video Games Industry (supporting title Development Release or Live Ops) experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• 3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
• Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
